Disruptive Learner Policy
How instructors prevent, manage, and resolve disruptive or disengaged behaviour fairly and proportionately.
The Academy's approach is preventative first and disciplinary last, relying on clear expectations and well-designed sessions, with a calm, staged response when disruption occurs — from a non-verbal cue up to removal and escalation.
Disengaged learners are re-engaged rather than punished, and instructors stay alert to underlying welfare or safeguarding concerns, referring these immediately to the Safeguarding Officer. Serious or persistent disruption may lead to removal, suspension, or removal from the programme, with any refund handled under the Money-Back Guarantee Policy, and all responses free from discrimination.
