Policy

Disability Discrimination Policy

The Academy's commitment to treating disabled athletes, coaches, staff, and participants fairly and removing barriers to participation.

The Academy does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or victimisation on the grounds of disability, and makes reasonable adjustments across facilities, coaching delivery, communication, assessment, and digital learning so that disabled people can take part fully.

Adjustments can be requested at registration or at any time, are discussed privately and confidentially, and are reviewed as needs change. The policy is grounded in the Cayman Islands Constitution, applicable anti-discrimination and data-protection law, and the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Concerns may be raised informally or through the formal complaints procedure.
